Protective Coatings and Sandblasting

Delstar Metal Finishing, Inc. (DMF) now offers sandblasting and painting services. Delstar is known for providing high quality and excellent customer service in the areas of electropolishing, passivating, pickling, chemical cleaning and mechanical polishing. Now, Delstar is offering the same high quality and excellent customer service in the areas of sandblasting and painting services.

SANDBLASTING SERVICES:

We are now offering aluminum oxide and glass bead blasting and blast-cleaning services to a wide range of industries and customers. Our sandblasting booth dimensions are 10’H x 9’W x 22’L.

PAINTING SERVICES:

We are now offering a variety of air-dry coatings such as Primers, Epoxies and Polyurethanes. Products offered include Inorganic Zinc Enriched Primers, High Build Epoxies (Including Coal Tar Epoxies) and High Build Polyurethanes. These coatings can be used as stand alone coatings but are most commonly used as a part of a 2 or 3 coat painting system. These coatings can be used for land based structures but are most commonly used for offshore and immersion service to protect against corrosion. Our paint booth dimensions are 8’H x 8’W x 18’L.

As Delstar expands into the protective coatings arena, we plan to offer more comprehensive protective coatings services including Phosphating (Zinc and Manganese), Xylan® Coatings and Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA).

Note: Delstar’s standard procedures, forms and coatings inspection reports will normally meet or exceed OEM Requirements and Specifications.
